Hardware: NavVis VLX

Project Overview: Client needed point cloud in order to demonstrate smart building sensor technology integration with laser scan data.
Results: This project was an urgent need and was planned and executed in a three day window. Client was able to successfully demonstrate proof of concept to internal group for further development.

Project Overview: Client needed point cloud and panoramic images in order to create floor plans, panoramic walkthrough, and to create “digital twin” via third party software. Primary use case is to support smart building sensor layout and visualization tools.
Results: Project was successfully completed ahead of schedule and under the estimated cost.

Project Overview: Client needed point cloud and panoramic images in order to create point cloud fly through video for marketing needs.
Results: This project was an urgent last-minute need and was planned, executed, and delivered within three days. Primal was able to deliver data ahead of schedule and on budget.

Project Overview: Client needed point cloud and panoramic images in order to create a Revit model. They were facing a serious time crunch and only had the week between the Christmas and New Year holidays to collect the scan data.
Results: Project was successfully completed, on schedule and on budget. Client’s modeling partner was more than pleased with the VLX data and requested it to be used on future projects.

Deliverables: IVION cloud access, 2D as-built drawings and rack layout drawings
Project Overview: Client needed as-built drawings to facilitate re-organization of floor space to accommodate additional pallet racks.
Results: This project successfully completed on budget and on schedule.

Project Type, Size, and Duration: School building rooftops totaling 61,682 SF – time onsite was 1⁄2 day with 1 crew
Hardware: NavVis VLX
Deliverables: IVION cloud access, colorized E57, DWG, panoramic images
Project Overview: Client needed point cloud in order create as-built drawing of rooftop. IVION access was given to subcontractors to help facilitate more accurate bids.
Results: This project began as a demonstration to help get future projects, but a last-minute need resulted in the client using this data to help with their project. Cloud based IVION access was critical in getting accurate dimensional information to subcontractors in a timely manner.
